A very useful interpretation of a classic untensil.
While the classic wok design lifts the bowl above the stove element, requiring high heat, this wok is blessed with the same kind of thick bottom that makes the Sabayon series of cookware such a joy to use. Efficient use of the heat reduces the need for high element settings. Visibiltiy through the glass cover is reduced by the steam from the food, but that's still so much better than leaving it open, or having no view at all. The very high quality stainless steel used in the construction of this wok makes it very easy to keep clean. No gradual accumulation of discoloration with this piece. I love this wok, and strongly recommend it to anyone considering buying one.

This was to Replace an electric WOK with teflon. This WOK is the BEST.. Does not stick, Heats fast and evenly, and the LID is very nice to hold the heat and allows you to watch your meal cooking....We made Great Vegetable Stir fry in it....and more to come
